Senior Cloud SecOps Engineer

The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Cloud SecOps Engineer to join our team and support the security operations of cloud-based environments. In this role, you will help ensure the protection, monitoring, and continuous improvement of our cloud infrastructure, working closely with engineering and security teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Your key responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain cloud security controls across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud;


• Operate and monitor cloud-native and third-party security tools (e.g., CSPM, CWPP, SIEM, SOAR)


• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps practices);


• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) security configurations and guardrails (e.g., Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation);


• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory requirements in cloud environments;


• Automate repetitive SecOps tasks using scripting or orchestration tools;


• Contribute to continuous improvement of cloud security posture and operational processes.

Skills and attributes for success

• Completed technical higher education in the field of computer science or related field;


• At least 3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or security operations;


• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud);


• Strong understanding of cloud security concepts (identity management, network security, logging, encryption, shared responsibility model);


• Experience with security monitoring tools such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, CSPM, or similar;


• Familiarity with incident response processes and security operations workflows;


• Understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code;


• Basic scripting or automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.);


• Professional proficiency in English.


• Hold certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500), Google Cloud Security Engineer;


• Possess cybersecurity certifications (Security+, CEH, or similar);


• Have experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and runtime protection;


• Be familiar with with Zero Trust architectures and identity security (IAM, PAM);


• Have experience using automation/orchestration tools for SecOps (e.g., SOAR platforms).

Ideally you`ll also

• Demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to document technical findings;


• Have a good understanding of networking fundamentals and security protocols;
