Senior Consultant Finance Transformation

The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Consultant Finance Transformation to join our Finance Transformation team of talented professionals. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth, learning, and career development within our organization. 

Your key responsibilities

• Project Management/ Management consulting: Contribute and/or lead transformation projects from initiation to completion. This includes assistance in developing project plans, setting objectives, defining roles and responsibilities, and ensuring that projects are executed on time and within budget.


• Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to help clients effectively navigate through periods of significant organizational change. This includes assessing the impact of change, identifying resistance, and developing communication and training plans.


• Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to identify their specific needs, challenges, and objectives. Provide strategic guidance and develop adapted solutions that align with their goals with the support of EY leadership team.


• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior consultants and project teams. Ensure that projects are executed efficiently and effectively, maintaining a high level of quality and client satisfaction.


• Data Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights and analysis to support project decisions and provide clients with evidence-based recommendations.


• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful project outcomes.


• Stakeholder Communication: Establish strong relationships with client stakeholders and maintain open and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

• Expertise in change management methodologies and strategies.


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Exceptional communication, presentation, and people skills.


• Proficiency in data analysis and relevant software tools.


• Proficiency in MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.


• Proficiency in English and Romanian, any other language is a plus.


• Leadership and mentoring capabilities.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.


• Willingness to travel as needed to meet client requirements.


• Nice to have: French and/or German language skills.

Ideally you`ll also

• Have Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) is a plus.


• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Consultant with a focus on Management consulting and Transformation, preferably in a consulting firm.


• Strong project management skills, including the ability to support multiple complex projects concurrently in various industries such as financial services, retail, telco.
