Senior Data Developer

We are looking for a Senior Data Developer to join our partner team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouse solutions, ensuring reliable data integration, and supporting business stakeholders with high-quality data flows and insights.

Role Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT application owners to understand, document, and design data warehouse processes.

• Contribute to the definition, development, and implementation of data warehouse solutions.
• Create and maintain data mapping logic to integrate content from multiple source systems into the data warehouse.

• Design, develop, test, optimize, and deploy ODI packages, Oracle stored procedures/packages, and Databricks jobs for ETL functions.

• Plan and coordinate ETL and database rollouts in collaboration with project teams, developers, and database engineers.

  Provide support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolution for ETL processes.
• Design and establish technical frameworks and standards for the data warehouse.

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Data Modelling and Source System Analysis.

• Expert-level knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.

• Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools (ODI or similar) and working with large-scale databases.

• Skilled in Python for data engineering tasks, with familiarity in PySpark.

• Proficient in data profiling and mapping for the design and implementation of data flows.

• Experience with data visualization and exploration tools.

• Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts, architectures, and best practices.
• Strong database design and data analysis skills, including handling large datasets.
• Exposure to diverse configurations, technologies, and processing environments.
• Proficiency in advanced performance tuning techniques for complex data transformations.

• Experience in the banking sector is an advantage.

• Quick learner, adaptable to mastering new technologies and tools.

• Familiarity with Agile methodology is a plus.

• Proficient in English, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
