Job Description - (Senior) Database / System Administrator (all genders)

You are jointly responsible for the administration (installation, operation, maintenance and optimization) of our database systems (MySQL) under Linux
You will participate in the design and expansion of the database systems up to high-availability solutions
You will be in close contact with the developers of our applications to support them as a database administrator
You will support our team in the operation and further development of the IT infrastructure as well as in the integration of new technologies
You see yourself as part of a team for the continuous analysis, optimization and further development of the existing system as well as internal processes and procedures

Degree in the field of computer science or comparable training
Many years of experience in the operation and architecture of MySQL databases and their replication
Sound knowledge in the administration of Linux systems (Ubuntu/Debian)
Independent and careful way of working
Good written and spoken English skills is a must, good German skills are a plus
