Senior Frontend Engineer

Design, develop, and maintain robust user interfaces using React and associated technologies. Lead architectural decisions related to frontend structure, state management, and performance enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend engineers. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code aligned with modern development practices. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring for reliability and scalability. Stay informed about emerging technologies and advocate for continuous improvement. Possess 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with at least 3 years focused on React. Proficient in modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and build tools such as Webpack or Vite. Experienced in state management libraries like Redux, Zustand, or Recoil. Skilled in working with RESTful APIs and CSS-in-JS frameworks (e.g., styled-components, Emotion). Familiar with testing frameworks including Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress. Demonstrated ability to optimise web applications for performance and accessibility. Proven experience in leading projects or mentoring team members in collaborative environments. Bonus: Experience with Next.js, Remix, design systems (Storybook, Radix, Material UI), backend technologies (Java), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
