Cloud migration factory team

The cloud migration factory team belongs to the Cloud & Engineering department in Visma and it is a team of certified and experienced people on various public cloud providers that help other Visma companies to successfully migrate their solutions from the on-premises data centers to the public cloud or optimize the ones that are already in the public cloud.

About the job

Visma is looking for a passionate Infrastructure Engineer for Azure Public Cloud Area with hands-on experience on public cloud migrations, optimization and maintaining of web based solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Help create the target architecture for the solution that will be migrated.




• Create and maintain infrastructure code.




• Work with different internal teams to migrate or optimize their infrastructure in public cloud.




• Implement the CI/CD pipeline.




• Build a production environment in a way that makes the system increasingly maintainable.

Your skills, experience and abilities:

• Ability to present and communicate the architecture in a visual form.




• Superior analytical and problem solving skills.




• Commitment to quality with a passion for testing.




• Strong ability to work independently as well as with highly cross-functional teams - Team player.




• Azure experience and knowledge.




• Experience with clean code principles (readability, maintainability), DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself) practices, and version control systems (e.g., Git).




• Experience in testing, releasing and maintaining web based solutions on Azure.




• Managing production infrastructure with Terraform.




• Good knowledge about Site reliability engineering (SRE) / DevOps methods.




• IP networking, simple routing, firewall rules and logging.




• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (In lieu of degree, 3 years relevant work experience).




• English proficiency.




• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

In addition, it would be an advantage if you have:

• Kubernetes knowledge and experience.




• Past experience with software development/coding.




• Past experience with web servers (IIS/Apache/Lighttpd).




• Operational experience, mainly SaaS services.




• AZ-104 or AZ-400.
