About the role

We are looking for an experienced Integration Java Developer with strong expertise in building modern, scalable applications using Quarkus and Apache Camel. You will play a key role in designing and implementing integration workflows, cloud-native microservices, and containerized solutions. Familiarity with Docker is essential. Experience or interest in Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services and integration flows using Java 21+, Quarkus, and Apache Camel


• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven systems


• Build containerized applications using Docker


• Work with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, ActiveMQ) and API gateways


• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices


• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions


• Document solutions and contribute to internal knowledge bases

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in Java development


• Hands-on experience with Quarkus or other Java microservice frameworks (e.g., Micronaut, Spring Boot)


• Solid understanding of Apache Camel for integration and routing


• Experience with Docker and containerized application development


• Familiarity with REST, JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications


• Good understanding of messaging systems (Kafka, JMS, etc.)


• Comfortable with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD practices

Nice to Have

• Experience with or interest in Python scripting or services


• Knowledge of Kubernetes or OpenShift


• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)


• Experience working in agile development teams
