Senior Network Administrator

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Network Administrator with strong hands-on experience in L2/L3 datacenter networking, Cisco infrastructure, and network security. The role focuses on maintaining a secure, high-availability network environment, supporting critical operations, and contributing to compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain L2/L3 datacenter networks

• Administer Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls

• Monitor network performance, availability, and security

• Manage firewall policies, ACLs, VPNs, and IPS

• Support PCI-DSS compliance and security best practices

• Troubleshoot complex network issues and participate in L3 on-call support

• Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and procedures

• Use Jira and Confluence for activity planning and documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in network administration

• Strong expertise in L2/L3 networking and Cisco security solutions

• Hands-on experience with Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA, and Firewall Management Center

• Experience with Cisco ISE, Prime Infrastructure, and Catalyst Center

• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and network security principles

• Experience with PCI-DSS and enterprise network security practices

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNP, CCNA Security, or similar Cisco certifications

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Catalyst Center, Zabbix, Nagios, or PRTG

• Familiarity with Linux administration

• Knowledge of Python, Shell scripting, Ansible, or Terraform

• Exposure to WAF, IPAM, SD-WAN, and cloud networking
