Job Description:
Purpose of the Role
The Senior Project Manager ensures a structured, methodical, and results-driven approach to multi-project development. This includes:
• Translating strategic objectives into actionable project plans
• Overseeing design and construction to meet quality, budget, and timeline targets
• Ensuring tenant technical requirements are incorporated efficiently
• Driving continuous improvement in processes, workflows, and project delivery
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Project Leadership
- Lead and oversee multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and development objectives.
- Establish project milestones, budgets, and resource allocation plans in coordination with the Regional Director.
- Identify opportunities for optimization, value engineering, and long-term portfolio growth.
Design & Tenant Coordination
- Direct the design process, ensuring compliance with master plans, corporate standards, and tenant technical requirements.
- Act as the main interface with tenants, integrating their operational needs into the design and construction process.
- Supervise design consultants and approve key technical deliverables.
Construction Oversight
- Oversee construction management, coordinating General Contractors, specialized contractors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure adherence to construction schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Resolve project issues, manage risks, and escalate critical matters to senior management.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures.
- Conduct financial impact assessments and present recommendations to management and investors.
- Identify commercial opportunities and manage project-related contracts and procurement processes.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain strong relationships with tenants, local authorities, regulators, and external consultants.
- Facilitate approvals, permits, and compliance with legal and technical requirements.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to internal stakeholders, including Finance, Legal, and Executive Management.
Reporting & Governance
- Prepare and deliver monthly progress reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
- Ensure proper documentation and archiving of all project information for operational and audit purposes.
- Drive governance and ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry best practices.
Team Leadership & Development
- Define roles, responsibilities, and objectives for project team members.
- Mentor and develop junior project managers and technical staff.
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and safety-focused project culture.
