We are looking for a talented software engineer within Flutter Studios to help us enhancing our recently launched platform, that will become a fully featured supplier of in-house content for any operator or game studio to use. We are an exciting new product within the company, revolutionizing the world of Gaming by using a Platform agnostic game development and runtime environments that will take operator/brand integrations where they have never been before. You will play an integral role in bringing new features for this product to life (In game Jackpots, Free Spins, Free Chips etc), through crafting a user experience that engages and delights our customers. 

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Work with stakeholders to model and analyze functional business requirements for the required software components, where SDLC and best-practices are followed 

• Participate in the software development process from design to release including design, document, test and develop solutions as well as code review and peer design activities 

• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code 

• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications 

• Implementation of security and data protection 

• Integration of data storage solutions 

• Deliver projects within project deadlines with a high degree of confidence and quality and be accountable for the changes implemented 

• Participate in researching, producing POCs, and evaluating new methodologies and technologies that improve quality, reliability, scalability, security, and performance of Flutter Studios Technology 

• Help Architects and Technical Leads perform system and gap analysis with given requirements to define functional and non-functional requirements needed to design the best technical solutions 

• Mentor and guide other developers by providing quality coaching and ensuring proper execution of their tasks  

• Any other requests coming from management 

Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in computer science, computer technology, or related field

• 5+ years experience in backend software development

• Strong proficiency with Node.js and related frameworks (Nest.js)

• Solid experience with TypeScript in server-side applications

• Deep understanding of asynchronous programming patterns, event-driven architecture, and their quirks and workarounds

• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services

• Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL) and integration of multiple data sources into one system

• Experience with message brokers and event streaming platforms, particularly Apache Kafka

• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments (OAuth, JWT, etc.)

• Understanding fundamental design principles behind scalable, high-performance backend applications

• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS

• Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements

• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests for backend services

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

• Basic familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, React) is a plus

• Excellent coding skills with ability to produce clean, robust, and maintainable code

• Knowledge of probability, statistics, and different casino game rules is an asset

• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle, with solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Detail-oriented, well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Experience working with Agile methodologies and JIRA is an asset
