Solution Testing Engineer

The Solution Testing Engineer is responsible for testing of different systems in the OSS fulfilment domain. The respective systems cover all access technologies and all customer segments in different European markets in the scope of the Network Strategy & Engineering vertical. The responsibility includes the definition and execution of test scenarios, test cases and the respective testing tool suite. All activities are in alignment the respective OSS fulfilment engineering team. The role owner also creates and maintains the test automation scripts, scenarios and the respective test automation environment. The role is responsible for the lifecycle of the test tools within the team which includes update/upgrade mgmt., fulfilment of security requirements and capacity management. The role owner creates the final testing report together with the Software Quality approval document. The Testing Eningeer helps to coach and develop the Junior team members according to the teams strategy. With these activities you will have a great impact on our business: Define, plan and execute test scenarios and test cases for the OSS Fulfilment systems Drive and implement test automation tools and scripts to speed up regression testing and improve the overall test coverage Analyse the business requirements and derive test strategies and test scenarios for the different systems in OSS fulfilment Contribute to a 3-year strategic roadmap for the testing and test automation in responsibility and define & execute the respective projects, driving harmonisation and consolidation. Responsible for the lifecycle management of the assigned systems Coordinating suppliers and internal teams to ensure the timely delivery in expected quality and to ensure cost efficiency Proven Software testing skills in terms of methodology and execution Ability to assess Software technologies and implementation with their specific weaknesses. Strong cost and performance orientation Strong technical skills to manage and and drive technical evolution in a complext environment Ability to work across functional and cultural boundaries to deliver results and to drive change Proven experience in a Software Quality assurance / testing role More than 5 years professional experience in Telecommunications or IT engineering. Good knowledge in methods of IT- & Software Testing, Project & Lifecycle Management and IT Standards e.g. ITIL, ETOM etc. Fluency in English, both verbally and written Sounds like the perfect job?
