System Engineering Specialist, NFVi

Knowledge of SDN and NFVi technologies is essential to properly manage the VCI networks and cloud solutions. Troubleshooting and network analysis capabilities are required for this role. Essential for the role are also soft skills as team player, basic understanding of project management and agile methodology, responsible attitude to actively drive activities to completion. With these activities you will have a great impact on our business: Define & deploy detailed HW configuration (HP, Dell, Huawei blades) Deployment of core NFVi platforms (ESXi, vCenter, NSX-v, NSX-T, vCloud Director, TKG, TCA) Design and Deploy SDN components and services (VxLANs, Network Controllers, BGP, PGs) for core NFVi platform Operating System hardening based on agreed procedure Creation of services for tenants in IaaS and CaaS environments Post-deployment support after network service roll-out Perform QA and handover to Operations (when not the same team) Identify tasks and other automation opportunities to reduce incidents or delivery faster Perform oncall when scheduled Basic DC IP switching and routing experience (Cisco, Huawei, HP, Mellanox) SDN knowledge (VMware NSX-v, NSX-T, AVI) Exposure to network firewalls (VMware dFW, Cisco, Juniper) Exposure to load-balancers technologies (AVI) Exposure with routing technologies (BGP, OSPF, VRFs) Basic knowledge with Kubernetes, containers Basic OS knowledge (Windows, Linux) Basic Security Concepts (Authentication, Certificates, AD, LDAP) Basic automation expertise (Power CLI, PowerShell, Phyton, Bash, Ansible) VMware virtualization technologies (vCenter, vCloud Director, TCA, TKG).
