Overall Objective of the Role

We are seeking a skilled System Tester with a focus on the Nordic markets to contribute to the evolution of our products in alignment with our company vision and customer expectations. This role involves system testing, defect analysis, and user acceptance testing while working in an agile environment. 

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and execute system tests both in our lab and remotely connected to customer environments.


• Estimate time and effort required for testing activities.


• Analyze and understand requirements to design effective test cases.


• Conduct thorough test execution to ensure system quality and functionality.


• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and rollout processes for customers.


• Identify and resolve issues by assisting with defect analysis and troubleshooting.


• Set up and configure test environments and equipment as needed.


• Contribute to the standardization and enhancement of test documentation and processes.

Requirements

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.


• Proven experience in system testing.


• Strong proficiency in spoken and written English.


• Hands-on experience with Visual Studio.


• Familiarity with relational databases.


• Experience working with Windows-based platforms.


• Knowledge of test automation techniques and tools.


• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build external and internal relationships.


• Willingness to learn new technologies and expand skill sets.


• Team-oriented mindset with a supportive approach to colleagues.


• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.


• Creativity and enthusiasm for technical challenges.


• Ability to effectively explain functionality and solutions.


• Well-organized and structured approach to work.


• Strong team player. 

Nice to Have:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.


• Experience with C# and .NET.


• Knowledge of C++.


• Background in customer sales support.


• Understanding of software/test architecture.


• Technical project management experience.


• Certification related to system testing.


• Experience with Team Foundation Server and Git.


• Familiarity with Python, Microsoft SQL, JSON, and HTTP.


• Passion for sharing new technologies and innovations.


• Experience with analysis tools.


• Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum & SAFe).


• Involvement in product development.


• Experience with payment solutions, either as a user or developer.


• Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.


• Proficiency in spoken and written Swedish.
