Test Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Test Engineer to join our production team, focused on end-of-line (EOL) testing, calibration, and vision-based inspection systems for sensor products.

In this role, you will take ownership of test processes on the production floor, ensuring product quality, robust testing, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve EOL functional test systems


• Define and optimize test sequences, limits, and acceptance criteria


• Support and improve sensor calibration processes


• Configure and maintain vision-based inspection systems (camera/AOI at EOL)


• Analyze failures and perform root cause analysis


• Improve yield, test robustness, and cycle time


• Work closely with operators and technicians to ensure smooth production execution


• 
  
  LabVIEW maintenance, including the ability to perform minor adjustments, implement updates and effectively troubleshoot issues as needed
  
  


• Drive continuous improvement using production data

Ideal Background

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar


• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment


• Prior experience with LabVIEW (with solid debugging and problem-solving skills)


• Experience with test automation and data logging


• Strong understanding of:

• Hands-on experience with:
  
  
  
  • EOL testing and functional test systems
  
  
  • Calibration of electronic or sensor products
  
  
  
  


• Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence, Omron or similar)


• Knowledge of statistical analysis or yield improvement


• Familiarity with MES or traceability systems is a nice to have (but not mandatory)
