Smyths Toys is one of the world's largest specialty retailers of children's toys. We operate both online, and via our physical retail stores, with hundreds of stores spread across Europe and the UK. We source our product range from an extensive array of UK, European, and international suppliers.

About the Role

We are looking for a Website Content Administrator who will create and edit product content across the company website. 

• This is fixed term 12 month contract


• This role is located in our Head Office in Galway


• Starting Salary:  €35,000

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Web Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Write clear, concise product descriptions for the website in accordance with brand guidelines


• Review, process and upload product content, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand standards


• Collaborate with webdata and buying teams to ensure product information is presented to a high standard online


• Review and optimise product descriptions and key product features where required


• Collaborate with Web Data, buying teams and web data to ensure product information is presented to a high standard online


• Providing internal reporting and carrying out ad hoc projects as requested

The Ideal Candidate

• Have high attention to detail


• Ability to plan, organise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Be forward thinking, problem solving and engaging in active process improvement


• Have strong organisational and administrative skills


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)


• Have an understanding of Online Content Management Systems
