Internship - QA Tester

As a QA Tester Intern, you will support the QA team in testing mobile and cross-platform games. This internship will give you hands-on experience in identifying bugs, documenting issues, and working closely with developers and designers. You will gain practical skills in quality assurance while learning how AAA and AA mobile games are developed and tested.

What You Will Gain

Responsibilities:

• Assist QA testers in executing test cases and checklists.
• Learn how to identify, reproduce, and document bugs using internal bug tracking tools.
• Perform basic functionality and regression testing under supervision.
• Test games on various mobile devices and platforms (Android, iOS).
• Report test results and provide feedback to QA Leads.
• Gain exposure to compliance, usability, and localization testing.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in daily QA activities.

Must-Have:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field (or equivalent self-taught experience).
• Passion for video games and curiosity about how they are made and tested.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including with remote colleagues.
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, and willingness to learn from mentors.

Nice-to-Have (Bonus Points):

• Exposure to game engines (Unity, Unreal) through coursework, personal projects, or game jams.
• Familiarity with multiple platforms (Mobile, PC, Console) from a gamer or academic perspective.
• Awareness of QA methodologies, software testing basics, or school projects involving testing.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, C#, Java, etc.) or interest in learning automation.
• Understanding of version control systems (Git, Perforce) from classes or personal projects.
• Interest in game production pipelines and development processes.
