Key responsibilities include executing sourcing plans, coordinating and contributing to supplier performance improvement in areas such as cost, quality, and lead time. The position also assists with supplier audits, qualification processes, and onboarding to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.\n\nEssential Responsibilities and Duties:\n\n * Support sourcing team to develop, communicate, and implement medium and long term sourcing strategies with the goal of assuring quality and delivery performance while minimizing total cost of ownership\n * Participates in the evaluation of current and prospective Suppliers\n * Identify cost elements and cost drivers, and sets cost targets\n * Assist in executing sourcing plans, including supplier, process, and part qualification activities, ensuring alignment with sourcing strategy.\n * Identifies opportunities and implements actions to continually reduce wasted time, money and resources from assigned tasks\n * Support the procurement and sourcing team to prepare and manage negotiations in accordance with sourcing strategy\n * Perform supplier management tasks for the assigned supplier portfolio in accordance with company procurement and sourcing policies.\n * Perform tasks related to business systems management, suppliers onboarding to business systems, updating suppliers\u2019 records and pricing\n\n\n\nKey Skills:\n\nCurrently pursuing or recently completed studies in Economics, Business Administration, Logistics, Law or a related field.\n\n * Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.\n * Proactive approach to daily responsibilities.\n * Demonstrated willingness to learn and continuously improve skills.\n * Initiative and ownership in completing tasks\n * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel .\n\n\n\nBlueFlex Scheme:\n\nWe are open to flexible, hybrid working with a combination of on-site \u0026 home working days.\n\nCertifications and Awards:\n\n * Top Score in the Disability Equality Index as \u201cBest Place to Work for Disability Inclusion\u201d in 2025.\n * Proud member of Business Disability Inn and Valuable 500 initiative.\n * Proudly ranked 4.3 out of 5 on Glassdoor for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.\n * Proudly ranked 4.1 out of 5 on Glassdoor for overall employee benefits.\n * Proudly ranked 4.2 out of 5 overall on Indeed.\n\n\n\nSLB is an equal opportunity employer.
