About the Internship

Calling all ambitious students and recent graduates!

At fme Romania, we are excited to launch this year’s Software Development Internship, designed to offer hands-on experience in modern software engineering practices and technologies.

This program provides the opportunity to work on real projects, collaborate within agile teams, and gain practical exposure to the full development lifecycle, from writing code to deploying applications in the cloud.

What You Will Learn & Do

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Java or Python
• Apply OOP principles, design patterns, and unit testing best practices
• Learn the fundamentals of web development using React & TypeScript
• Work with CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and get introduced to AWS Cloud
• Attend relevant technical learning sessions to strengthen your expertise
• Collaborate in an agile team environment and solve real-world software challenges
• By the end of the internship, develop, build, and deploy a web application in the cloud

What You Will Gain

• Practical experience working in agile teams
• A solid understanding of modern development methodologies

Who Can Apply?

We are looking for enthusiastic students or recent graduates who:

• Have basic knowledge of Java or Python, TypeScript, OOP, and design patterns
• Are passionate about technology and eager to learn
• Have good English language skills
• Are available to work 4 hours per day, from July to October 2026
• Demonstrate curiosity, accountability, and a growth mindset

Nice to Have

• German language skills
