Technical Support Analyst w. Python – Second Shift
The Technical Analyst operates as a liaison between development, operations and additional staff to research and solve application maintenance requests. Technical Analysts are curious, resourceful problem-solvers who love diving into code, troubleshooting complex issues, and taking on technical challenges within a SaaS environment.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with Services, Product, and Support to investigate production issues/requests
- Propose and implement short term solutions for applications when applicable
- Take ownership of production issues and drive escalations
- Research and resolve issues using critical and logical thinking, ensuring financial data integrity and
- Write, execute, and validate Python-based scripts for data changes and bulk data corrections in a production environment
- Manage priorities through ticketing system
- Support technical customer implementations involving sensitive financial
- Assist in documentation of technical work instruction
- Recommend continuous improvement of operational and technical efficiencies
- Coordinate with Engineering and Product teams on future enhancements and capabilities
- Ability to understand Suvoda products, technical capabilities, and custom solutions
- Support application server management, deployment, and troubleshooting of lower and production environments
- Perform other duties, assignments, and/or special projects as time or circumstances necessitate
The working schedule for this role is between 14:00 - 22:00 EEST.
This is a remote role across Romania.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and/or training preferred
- At least 1-1,5 years of experience in a similar technical role (writing python scripts, working w Sql and Django)
- Object-oriented programming experience with Python (including writing scripts)
- Daily use of PostgreSQL, Django, Python
- Knowledge of SQL scripting and databases
- Linux/Unix and Bash scripting experience is preferred
- JavaScript or Typescript experience is a plus
- Ability to read and analyze application logs
- Version control experience (e. git)
- Open source software/web application development experience is a plus
- Highly collaborative team player
- Experience working in a fast-paced technical support-oriented role
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
- Prioritization of security and privacy
- Self-starter with the ability to independently manage time and priorities while meeting deadlines
- Sharp troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical abilities
- Attention to detail
- Experience with configuring and populating a knowledge base tool is a plus
- Willingness to explore new technologies
- Experience supporting technologies in the Financial or Clinical Trial space preferred
- Experience with OWASP security best practices is a plus
