Civil / Structural Design Engineer (Over head transmission line)

We are looking for a Junior to Mid-level Civil/Structural Design Engineer with hands-on experience in Transmission Line (OHL) tower and foundation design. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in tower design using PLS Tower software and sound knowledge of various foundation design methodologies in line with American design standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of Transmission Line towers using PLS Tower software

• Design of tower foundations including:

  • Pile / Pier Foundations

  • Pad & Chimney Foundations

  • Rock Anchor Foundations

• Perform foundation calculations using MS Excel, MathCAD, or equivalent engineering software

• Apply American design standards such as ACI 318, ASCE 10-97, and relevant codes

• Prepare design reports, calculation sheets, and drawings

• Coordinate with internal teams and support design reviews as required

Qualification

• Minimum: B.Tech / BE in Civil Engineering

• Preferred: M.Tech / ME in Structural Engineering (added advantage)

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Design Engineer in the OHL / Transmission Line industry

• Proven experience in:

  • Tower design

  • Tower foundation design (Pile & Open foundations)
