Job Title: Power BI Developer / BI Engineer
Location: Riyadh (Onsite)
Contract Duration: 3 Months (Contractual)

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer / BI Engineer to support a short-term project involving the setup of enterprise BI infrastructure and development of business dashboards. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Power BI Enterprise Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and building scalable BI reporting solutions in an on-premises environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage Power BI Report Server / Enterprise Server in an on-premises environment.

• Install, configure, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server for reporting and analytics workloads.

• Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.

• Develop data models, DAX calculations, and optimized queries for performance.

• Integrate data from multiple sources including SQL databases and enterprise systems.

• Ensure data accuracy, security, and governance within BI solutions.

• Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical dashboards.

• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize reports and datasets.

• Document architecture, data models, and reporting processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–8 years of experience in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics.

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Report Server (On-Prem).

• Solid expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including performance tuning.

• Experience in data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.

• Ability to design visually compelling dashboards and reports.

• Experience with ETL processes and data integration.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing enterprise BI environments.

• Knowledge of data warehouse concepts.

• Microsoft BI or Power BI related certifications are a plus.

• Experience working on projects in the Middle East region is advantageous.

Engagement Details

• Contract: 3 Months (Possible Extension)

• Location: Onsite in Riyadh
