Experience and skills required for the job
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or any related specialty.
- From 15 years to 20 years in the same field.
- High ability in numerical and quantitative analysis, cares about time, experience in the field of projects and production stages, administrative ability (operations, procurement, accounting, quality, control, budgets, contracts, tenders), very good in the English language, written and spoken, high communication skills, knowledge Excellent computer skills, time management, problem solving, high negotiation skills, attention to detail, holds international courses in the field of planning or costs such as (PMP), knowledge of the laws regulating projects.
Job duties
- Monitoring the implementation of the project’s strategic goals and plans within the required time and budget, achieving the highest possible profitability and avoiding losses.
- Requesting the implementation of work from the operations manager according to specific times and costs.
- Implementing public safety measures and monitoring them regularly.
- Carrying out all the work and requirements before and during the project or work, such as public and private equipment and creating the appropriate work environment for the work.
- Securing the project with permanent construction materials such as concrete, iron, etc.
- Carrying out all surveying work required for the business.
- Carrying out all work related to excavation, backfilling, or soil replacement.
- Carrying out all work related to receiving and delivering work to consultants or owners, including managing relationships with owners, contractors, and consultants.
- Follow up on the project’s legal and governmental relations, such as removing obstacles and others.
-Achieving coordination between the civil, mechanical, electrical and administrative works of the project.
- Follow up and monitor the performance of the project’s engineering, technical and administrative phases on an ongoing basis and prepare the necessary daily or periodic reports for senior management.
- Managing and controlling quality in work by following up on routine inspections.
- Follow up on external changes that may occur to the project, such as government decisions, etc., and study the extent of their impact on the project and provide recommendations.
- Participate in senior management meetings, inform them of the comparative results between the planned and the actual, and provide recommendations regarding improving the project management process.
- Follow up on the project’s administrative operations related to accounting management, budget control, contracts, purchases, etc.).
