Chief Information Security Officer

We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Cyber Security Officer (CCSO) on behalf of our esteemed client, a leading insurance company in Saudi Arabia. This is a vital role responsible for the strategy, operations, and budget for protecting the company's information assets, encompassing communications, applications, and infrastructure.

**As part of our commitment to the nationalisation program in Saudi Arabia to boost local talent in financial services industry, this role is exclusively open to Saudi nationals**

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a 3-5 year Information Security Strategy aligned with the company's business goals.
• Conduct regular Risk Assessments.
• Develop and enforce an Information Security Framework, Policies, and Procedures.
• Investigate and recommend vendor-specific security solutions.
• Develop and maintain a user security awareness program.
• Oversee an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all information assets.
• Ensure all changes in the information assets adhere to a strict change control process.
• Oversee the prompt identification and response to anomalies or suspicious events concerning Information assets.
• Manage the cybersecurity department including cybersecurity analysts, architecture engineers, and forensic engineers.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Regularly communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field. Additional technical certifications are a plus.
• Professional security management certification.
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security, and IT jobs.
• Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, SAMA, and CISSP.
• Experience in Insurance sector is a plus. Exposure to financial services industry is advantageous.
