Job Description - Chief of Staff - NEOM Europe

Job Description

Summary

The Chief of Staff for NEOM Europe will be a trusted partner and advisor to the CEO Neom Europe, and will be intimately involved in all aspects of the business including, marketing, strategy, procurement, risks, setup, and operations of the office, recruiting, deal support, financial budgeting, cross collaboration with other NEOM entities and functions, and the overall management of the NEOM London Office.

Position description and responsibilities

  • Work with the CEO of NEOM Europe, to develop a strategy and for NEOM’s operations in the UK and Europe.
  • Attending key meetings with the CEO with internal and external stakeholders and ensure efficient follow-up.
  • Help develop and market NEOM Europe to in country audiences, ensuring we develop a 100% ESG focused organization with a best-in-class brand.
  • Assist in establishing benefit plans, payroll routines, insurance plans and other local policies for UK employees.
  • Assist in the buildout of the London office interfacing with key vendors and NEOM KSA procurement to ensure we develop a state-of-the art London presence.
  • Help recruit and develop junior staff members to ensure that NEOM Europe has a quality team.
  • Serve as a liaison to the NEOM CEO, Deputy CEO and Sector heads visiting the UK office.
  • Assist in finding and coordinating community service opportunities in the UK to do good and to enhance the NEOM brand.
  • Develop a summer internship program for NEOM Europe as a means to attract and develop talent.
  • Serves as the internal NEOM Europe point of contact for support related activities.
  • Works collaboratively with all NEOM shared services function inclusive of HR, Procurement and IT.
  • Works with NEOM finance to manage the NEOM Europe budget and all financial activities.
  • Works with NEOM GRC to ensure that the NEOM UK entity has an established risk register and all risks are being proactively mitigated and managed.
  • Works collaboratively with the NEOM London office landlord to ensure the facilities are operating as expected.
  • Ensures the NEOM London office has all the applicable services and support required to deliver a smooth operations.
  • Works with CEO of NEOM Europe to ensure the entity has all the applicable staffing support required to meet its annual goals and objectives.
  • Ensure the NEOM Europe entity has established policies, procedures, and guidelines in place.
  • Ensure applicable service contracts to support the NEOM Europe entity are in place as applicable, as maintenance, office services, executive transportation services (as required), and VIP visit management.
  • Work collaboratively with the NEOM Europe CEO and Senior Management, to ensure the goals and objectives of the entity are on track and are being accomplished.
  • Manage all applicable reporting requirements for the NEOM Europe entity with other NEOM organizations.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Entrepreneurial nature. An ability to hit the ground running without the benefit of standard operating procedures.
  • Outstanding administrative and communication skills
  • Discreet and trustworthy
  • Well organized and passionate about this project.
  • Results oriented self-starter.
  • Collaborative in nature

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience– managing teams, project management, operations, and other applicable disciplines.
  • Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) is preferred
