DATA CENTER ANALYST

Job Description

Summary

Performs basic day-to-day infrastructure operations activities to provide delivery of systems and services to meet or exceed agreed service levels. Ensures that the physical facility that houses the data center is operating properly and efficiently.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

1. Participates in incident and problem support activities when requested.

2. Ensures that all infrastructure equipment is maintained according to policies and recommendations and performs regular checks on environmental equipment and conditions.

3. Maintains all operational data collection procedures, mechanisms and tools.

Maintains operational logs and journals on all events, warnings, alerts and alarms, recording and classifying all messages.

5. Provides service reports on operational data center and low current room performance and quality.

6. Follows prescribed system safety and security procedures of computing environment.

7.

Participates in self & others' education, training and development, as applicable.

8. Follows all hospital related policies and procedures.

9. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, facilities management or related discipline is required.

Experience Required

One (1) years of related experience with Master’s Degree, or three (3) years of related experience with Bachelor’s Degree is required.
