Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Director - Contracts & Claims to join our team! In this role you will get to ensure the project adheres to legal, regulatory standards, and best practices in contract management, serving as a cornerstone of the project's success by safeguarding its commercial integrity. This role reports to the Project Senior Director.
What You'll Be Doing:
The role demands a profound understanding of contract law, superior negotiation skills, and adeptness in managing relationships with all stakeholders. Additionally, the Director ensures the project adheres to legal, regulatory standards, and best practices in contract management, serving as a cornerstone of the project's success by safeguarding its commercial integrity
Emphasizing the protection and advancement of the project's financial and operational objectives. This involves managing a dedicated team responsible for contract administration, including the proactive handling of any potential claims in alignment with the client's best interests.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field
Minimum of 25 years of experience in contract management, with a proven track record of successfully overseeing complex construction projects.
Strong understanding of contract law, construction practices, and project management principles.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office suite.
Relevant industry certifications
