Urgently Hiring for below position in a leading Saudi Contracting Company in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Designation: HSE Category Procurement Buyer. - Identify, source, evaluate and negotiate contracts with potential suppliers/vendors specific to the HSE category related goods and services, such as personal protective equipment, safety training programs and secure the best prices, quality and delivery terms. - Conduct market research to stay updated with industry trends, new products, and emerging suppliers related to HSE procurement. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and resolving any issues that may arise. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as HSE Director, managers and operations teams, to understand their procurement needs and requirements. -Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to HSE standards. - Conduct regular supplier audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation. - Track and report key performance indicators related to HSE procurement activities, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and compliance metrics. - Support cross-functional teams in implementing sustainability initiatives and promoting a culture of health, safety, and environmental responsibility within the organization. - Contribute to the development of HSE procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. - Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints. - Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and resolve any discrepancies. - Monitor and track deliveries to ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods. - Conduct regular quality checks to ensure purchased items meet the specified standards. - Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of supplier pricing, terms, and performance metrics. - Collaborate with the finance team to monitor and control procurement expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints. - Maintain accurate records and documentation of all procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and supplier information. Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - Proven experience as a procurement Buyer/specialist, preferably in the HSE field in an Construction Industry. - Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in using procurement software and tools like ERP NetSuite. - Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders and meet tight deadlines.
