Responsibilities

Our Inventory Manager is responsible for managing and directing the activities of employees engaged in inventory control. Day to day you will analyze and reconcile inventory record discrepancies as well as recommending measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of product or service.

Responsibilities & Duties: 

  • Direct and coordinate the process and procedures regarding filling of customer orders. 
  • Direct and coordinate shipping and product transportation to the customer. 
  • Direct and coordinate expediting of procured product and of work in process.
  • Assures that necessary finished goods and raw material reports are issued as required by management.
  • Coordinate pick up of all parts & raw material to work orders.
  • Coordinate the receiving of parts and raw materials from subcontractors against PO's. 
  • Document and properly account for freight invoices. 
  • Coordinate all cycle counts.
  • Communicate with customer service, quality assurance, and production control to coordinate and communicate shortages, inventory levels, and production control, shipping and receiving. 
  • Train staff, evaluate employee performance and recommend promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action using company guidelines. 
  • Know and understand the Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Work Place Instructions. 
  • Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience within both Demand Planning and Inventory Management
  • Ideally you have experience within Oil & Gas
  • Managerial, organizational and communication skills. 
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. 
  • APICS certification is useful but not essential. 
  • Basic computer knowledge. 
  • Should be able to work and interact with all levels of personnel
