Job Description
Manager, Master Planning - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
- Implement and refine the master planning framework activities, aligning it with strategic initiatives and KPI frameworks.
- Collaborate with Business Units, CoEs, and SFs align and integrate to LoA/LoM plans and strategic initiatives with strategic objectives.
- Partners with Business Units, CoE, SF and Budgeting teams ensuring consistency across Master Plan, Business Plan, and Budget.
- Cascade KPIs seamlessly within the Master Plan, ensuring a unified and measurable approach to performance.
- Partner with PMOs and strategic initiative owners to integrate initiatives delivery plans to the Master Plan.
- Define a clear benefits realizing measures for initiatives and delivery plans withing Master Plan.
- Provide insights about master planning process and system enhancement.
- Seek and advise on automation opportunity for MP process and components (e.g. initiatives management, KPI cascading and monitoring, LoA/LoM integration…etc.)
- Foster an innovative culture within the team, adapting to evolving business needs.
- Utilize benchmarks and historical data in effectively developing and challenging the MP
- Timely and efficiently lead Master Plan update cycles, ensure alignment and documentation of all updates & changes.
- Partner with BUs and PMOs to effectively address challenges, change request and updates. Ensure alignment across MP components.
- Analyze & action changes and deviations from MP, ensure alignment between MP components and with strategic objectives
The Successful Applicant
Manager, Master Planning - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
- Bachelor's and Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Additional certifications in project management or process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) are desirable.
- Proven experience in PMO, strategy, change management and master planning
- Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and findings to diverse audiences, including senior management and external stakeholders.
- Leadership and Stakeholder Management: Exceptional leadership qualities with a track record of effectively leading cross-functional teams, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and driving alignment towards common goals.
- Mining and metal experience is preferable but not a must
