The Role:

The Marketing Performance & Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in assisting with campaign organization and marketing strategy development. This work is integral to the smooth functioning of the Marketing department and the achievement of its objectives. Daily responsibilities include undertaking administrative tasks to ensure the department's activities and projects are well-coordinated and operational. Additionally, the Coordinator may be tasked with content creation, managing email and newsletter communications, and overseeing social media channels.

Furthermore, the role involves providing support to marketing managers in organizing various projects and initiatives. A key aspect of the position is proficiency in data analysis, as the Coordinator must be comfortable with monitoring campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Media monitoring analytics, Social Media Insights, and Online Reputation Management. By tracking key metrics and providing reports to management, this data-driven approach informs decision-making and aids in optimizing future campaigns.

Moreover, the Coordinator is responsible for event coordination, including organizing and promoting marketing events to ensure seamless execution and a positive experience for attendees. This multifaceted role requires a blend of administrative skills, creativity, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail to contribute effectively to the overall success of the Marketing department's endeavor

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

• Assist with organizing department meetings, send email notifications, distribute agendas and take meeting minutes.

• Assist the Marketing Director and supporting the marketing team with marketing and PR campaigns and projects.

• Assist with maintaining project timelines and deadlines for marketing department.

• Assist with coordinating the production of a wide range of marketing and PR communications including newsletters, online content, print materials and press releases.

• Assist with updating and maintaining the marketing department's documentation, databases, media assets, reports, etc.

• Answer all Marketing calls and distribute accurate messages.

• Assist with other duties deemed necessary by Marketing Director.

• Attend events after business hours and weekends.

• Assist with photo and video shoots. Editing skills are a plus.

• Assist with social media management and monitoring.

• Provide analytical and performance support (report generation) to the Marketing team.

• Identify and analyze competitors.

• Collaborate with the design department to produce promotional materials.

• Develop and produce PowerPoint presentations or Excel spreadsheets as requested.

Person Specification:

• Ability to multitask; solution oriented; ability to assess situations and exercise good judgement.

• The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal customers and agencies.

• College / University graduate preferred.

• The ability to take prompt action to begin and accomplish assignments.

• The ability to work cooperatively with managers and co-workers.

• The ability to remain calm and professional while working under pressure.

• Proven experience as a marketing assistant (preferred).

• Good understanding of office management and marketing principles.

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.)

• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the required languages: English and Arabic

• Writing and copy-editing skills is a plus.

• Must be self-starter and can work on a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines and coordinate multiple projects.

• Able to work with a team or independently.

• Excellent telephone manner and ability to communicate with agencies and all levels of management.

• Sales and/or event coordination experience a plus.
