We are looking for a talented Operations Project Manager with at least 5 years of proven experience, specifically in managing both mega and small events and possessing expertise in ticketing management. The ideal candidate is passionate about the events industry, eager to contribute their skills to our team, and has a keen interest in being part of impactful events across the region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives and deliverables.
  • Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and workflows and implement initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to standardize processes, establish best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocations, and budget estimates.
  • Execute projects according to plan, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Establish effective communication channels with project team members, stakeholders, and other departments.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs and report progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage changes to project scope, requirements, or timelines.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers, negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and resolving issues as needed.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and conduct periodic reviews to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential threats to business continuity, reputation, or financial stability.

Key Skills

  • Excellent project management skills, including ability to develop and execute project plans, manage resources, and monitor progress.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and facilitate collaboration.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of best practices in project management.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Project management certification such as PMPO or PRINCE2 is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in project management roles, preferably in operations or related fields.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize tasks effectively.
