Pre-Owned Vehicles Manager

The ideal candidate for this position will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing a robust and innovative used car strategy for our growing fleet. Also, will be responsible for maximizing the value of our used vehicles across the entire lifecycle, from trade-in and remarketing to subscription fleet integration. This is essential as they will be a data-driven leader, leveraging technology to optimize processes and drive digital transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive used car strategy aligned with our D2C business model and EV offerings, leveraging digital technology to create a seamless customer experience.
• Analyze market trends and data, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.
• Stay at the forefront of the used EV market, identifying and implementing new technologies and best practices.
• Manage residual value analysis and forecasting for different vehicle segments and models.
• Optimize remarketing timing and channels to maximize profitability and residual values.
• Design and implement efficient trade-in and remarketing programs, ensuring optimal pricing and timely sales, maximizing returns through online and offline channels.
• Implement innovative strategies to exploit the full used car value chain, including pool cars, subscription vehicles, lease-backs, and demo vehicles.
• Develop and manage used car subscription models, seamlessly integrating subscription vehicles into the remarketing cycle.
• Drive digitalization of used car processes, including online sales platforms and customer engagement tools.
• Collaborate closely with B2C, B2B, and sales planning teams to ensure alignment and optimization across the entire value chain to achieve shared objectives.
• Build and lead a high-performing used car team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Manage and motivate a team of used car specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and customer focus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably with a focus on used cars.
• Proven track record of success in developing and implementing used car strategies.
• Strong understanding of residual value analysis, trade-in processes, and remarketing channels.
• Experience in subscription models and integrating them into the used car ecosystem
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong data literacy.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse functions.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
