Procurement Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager for a w ell known Saudi company operating across 15 sectors, including construction, energy, chemicals, and mining.

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities related to industrial projects , including sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier management, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to support industrial projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and identify procurement needs.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and standards.
• Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, including vendor selection, RFQ/RFP issuance, bid evaluation, and contract award.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, suppliers, and external partners.
• Provide regular updates and reports on procurement activities, including budget tracking, savings achieved, and supplier performance metrics.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting procurement practices in the industrial sector.
• Lead and mentor procurement team members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their professional development and success.

We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. MBA or CIPS certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a managerial role, preferably in industrial projects.
• Proven track record of successfully managing procurement activities for industrial projects, including sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, procedures, and standards.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements in procurement for the industrial sector.
