As a Procurement Officer you are responsible for evaluating vendors/ contractors and ensuring that approved purchases/services are costeffective and of high quality. You will have to be deadlinedriven proactive selfstarter dedicated and balance multiple tasks simultaneously. You will be responsible for organising and coordinating the office operations and procedures to ensure organisational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Assist Facilities Manager in vendor management;
- Make professional decisions in a fastpaced environment;
- Create and maintain relationships with vendors;
- Bring up new vendors and maintain backup vendors for each mode of office supplies and services;
- Complete tasks before the deadline;
- Negotiate prices with the vendors;
- Submit invoice & followup on payments with the finance team;
- Ensure supplies & services meet quality standards;
- Maintain & update the list of vendors;
- Maintain documents and make yearly budget forecast;
- Work with team members to complete duties.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree preferred.
Experience
4 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge
Wellfamiliar with requirements i.e. having significant compliance with required and expected performance.
