Security Section Head

In this role you will be responsible to manage Security activities, in order to ensure and deliver on the section’s mandate and identify improvement opportunities that will contribute to the delivery of short and mid-term strategic objectives within set KPIs, agreed budgets and adopted policies and procedures.

You will be responsible for

Contribute to the design and implementation of the Sector’s strategy and roadmap by providing function-specific inputs

Establish and implement the Section’s operational plans in support of the Sector’s overall strategic plan and KPIs

Prepare the Security Section annual budget and participate in the Department’s budgeting cycle and process

Utilize and manage Security department’s budget effectively, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered

Investigate and propose implementing strategies that result in positive financial impact for STA and mitigate financial and operational risks

Provide protection for personnel and company property through the management of security protocols

Plan and implement comprehensive security strategies

Determine security needs by collaborating with department managers

Control the security operations budget, monitor expenses, and document processes

Create and conduct safety and security training sessions for employees

Gather security intelligence and implement preventative measures

Develop work schedules, allocate tasks, and monitor personnel performance

Coordinate responses to emergencies and alarms, as well as compile incident reports

Prepare surveillance equipment maintenance schedules and facilitate repairs in a timely manner

Initiate and perform security investigations throughout company building, and accurately report findings to management

Create reports for management on security status

Ensuring compliance with company policies and security industry regulations

Obtain all required licenses for the building and/or events

Perform security process evaluations and inspections

Deploy security technologies in creativity and innovative way

Propose improvements to Security department s policies, and ensure the implementation of procedures and controls across all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high quality and cost-effective results

Monitor day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures

Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement

Manage, guide and assist direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures

Participate in identifying and recruiting key talent for Security department

Promote a high-performance working environment embracing STA’s values

Build and maintain solid relations with externals stakeholders such as governmental entities and consultants to serve STA’s best interest

Provide assistance across the organization and support peers when needed to perform their duties

Approve reports and presentations related to Security department activities and achievements for reporting and decision-making

Perform other activities as and when required

You will need

At least 8 years of experience in Administration & Facilities Management or other relevant fields

A bachelor’s degree in HSE or equivalent is preferred

توفير الحماية للموظفين وممتلكات الشركة من خلال إدارة البروتوكولات الأمنية

تخطيط وتنفيذ استراتيجيات أمنية شاملة

تحديد الاحتياجات الأمنية من خلال التعاون مع مديري الأقسام

التحكم في ميزانية العمليات الأمنية ومراقبة النفقات وعمليات التوثيق

إنشاء وإجراء دورات تدريبية في مجال السلامة والأمن للموظفين

جمع المعلومات الأمنية وتنفيذ التدابير الوقائية

تطوير جداول العمل وتخصيص المهام ومراقبة أداء الموظفين

تنسيق الاستجابات لحالات الطوارئ والإنذارات، وكذلك تجميع تقارير الحوادث

إعداد الجداول الزمنية لصيانة أجهزة المراقبة وتسهيل الإصلاحات في الوقت المناسب

بدء وإجراء التحقيقات الأمنية في جميع أنحاء مبنى الشركة، وإبلاغ الإدارة بدقة بالنتائج

إنشاء تقارير للإدارة عن الحالة الأمنية

ضمان الامتثال لسياسات الشركة ولوائح صناعة الأمن

الحصول على جميع التراخيص المطلوبة للمبنى أو الفعاليات

إجراء تقييمات وعمليات التفتيش الأمنية

نشر التقنيات الأمنية بطريقة إبداعية ومبتكرة

اقتراح تحسينات على سياسات قسم الأمن، والتأكد من تنفيذ الإجراءات والضوابط في جميع مجالات النشاط بحيث يتم استيفاء جميع المتطلبات الإجرائية / التشريعية ذات الصلة مع تقديم نتائج عالية الجودة وفعالة من حيث التكلفة

مراقبة الأنشطة اليومية لضمان الامتثال للسياسات والإجراءات المنصوص عليها

تحفيز المرؤوسين والمساهمة في تحديد فرص التحسين المستمر للأنظمة والعمليات مع مراعاة الممارسات الرائدة والتغيرات في بيئة الأعمال وخفض التكاليف وتحسين الإنتاجية

إدارة وتوجيه ومساعدة التقارير المباشرة لأداء عملياتها الوظيفية وفقًا للسياسات والإجراءات المحددة

خبرة لا تقل عن 8 سنوات في مجال الإدارة وإدارة المرافق أو المجالات الأخرى ذات الصلة

درجة البكالوريوس في الصحة والسلامة والبيئة او مايعادلها
