Job Description - Software and Solutions Sales Specialist: Middle East and Africa

Job Description

The  “Software and Solutions Sales Specialist: Middle East and Africa” role would be responsible for business development and sales activities linked to the HP Software portfolio in Middle East (primary focus) and Africa.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the main point of contact and business ambassador in Middle East and Africa for all software related deals
  • Together with the HP local Country/Sales managers and regional software sales management for Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa, define the right local/regional sales strategy to achieve the defined business goals.
  • Direct sales on target accounts.
  • Collaborate with local HP account managers on Print and PCs divisions to cross – sell software in their accounts.
  • Collaborate with local channel managers to detect and enroll new software oriented partners/resellers.
  • Contribute to the HP business model transformation, where software and services will become a key revenue generator.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Provide accurate forecast and business visibility on the expected regional revenue.

Education & Experience Recommended:

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, account management, or a related field.
