Sr. Procurement Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement the company's procurement strategy to align with business goals and project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the procurement.
• Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and vendors of landscaping materials, equipment, and services.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and cost savings.
• Oversee inventory levels and demand forecasting to prevent shortages and excesses of materials.
• Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
• Coordinate the transportation and distribution of materials and equipment to various project sites.
• Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
• Establish quality standards for materials and ensure adherence to them by suppliers.
• Monitor and inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet specifications and quality requirements.
• Identify potential procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
• Monitor external factors such as market trends, regulatory changes, and geopolitical events that could impact the supply chain.
• Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support in their roles depending on the project size.
• Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
• Identify opportunities to integrate sustainable practices into the procurement, such as sourcing eco-friendly materials and reducing waste

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in procurement, preferably in the landscaping, construction, or any related industry.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Can communicate in Arabic and English.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
