Technical Lead/CTO Digital Mortgage

As the Technical Lead of our FinTech startup, you will be pivotal in driving our technology vision and implementation. Your role will be crucial in overseeing the development and operational strategy of our IT infrastructure, ensuring robust, scalable solutions that align with our business goals. You will work closely with various stakeholders to develop and maintain a high-performing, secure technological landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage our overall Cloud IT infrastructure with a focus on scalability and security, particularly in cloud environments (Oracle Cloud preferred).
• Lead backend and frontend development teams, ensuring adherence to modern programming practices using NestJS for backend and NextJS for frontend.
• Manage and optimize databases and caching solutions using MySQL and REDIS.
• Oversee networking architecture and ensure security and robustness of network set up and data transfer.
• Develop and enforce DevOps practices, including the use of Oracle Kubernetes, Terraform, Github Actions, Helm, and Docker to streamline deployment and operational processes.
• Implement DevOps best practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Collaborate with product managers and other technical leaders to align technological solutions with business needs.
• Manage IT budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
• Stay ahead of the latest industry trends and technologies, adapting them to improve our platform and operations.
• Maintain high availability and reliability of all technical systems and infrastructure.
• Manage internal technology needs and set up

Must-Have Requirements and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Senior Developer, or similar leadership role in IT.
• Extensive knowledge of DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure (Oracle Cloud experience is a plus), and networking.
• Strong development skills, particularly in React and other modern programming languages.
• Ability to design and manage enterprise-grade IT infrastructure.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage various stakeholders’ expectations.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Currently based in the GCC and willing to relocate to Riyadh, KSA.

Nice-To-Have Technical Prerequisites:

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and other containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless frameworks.
• Prior experience in the fintech or proptech sectors, particularly within a startup environment.
