Architecture Engineer

Technical Architecture Engineer, you will serve as a seasoned expert in conceptual and detailed design, overseeing the architectural aspects of projects while ensuring compliance with relevant building codes such as SBC (Saudi Building Code) and IBC (International Building Code). With a minimum of 10 years of experience in technical architecture, you will be instrumental in the preparation of comprehensive ITB (Invitation to Bid) documents for projects, demonstrating a deep understanding of architectural principles, best practices, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: Lead the conceptualization and development of architectural designs for projects, considering functional requirements, aesthetic considerations, and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders including project managers, developers, engineers, and clients to understand project objectives, requirements, and constraints.
Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of project requirements to inform architectural decisions and design solutions that meet both technical and business needs.
Develop detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to industry standards and building codes.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and project team members, sharing knowledge and expertise in architectural design and construction.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory updates related to architectural design, construction materials, and building codes.
Review and evaluate vendor proposals, construction documents, and subcontractor bids to ensure alignment with project requirements and specifications.
Prepare comprehensive ITB documents, including scope of work, technical specifications, bill of quantities, and contract terms, facilitating the bidding process for construction projects.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical challenges, address design discrepancies, and ensure successful project delivery.
Uphold standards of excellence in architectural design, fostering innovation, sustainability, and efficiency in project solutions.
Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical architecture, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in conceptual and detailed design.
In-depth knowledge of architectural principles, construction techniques, and building codes, with a focus on SBC, IBC, and other relevant regulations.
Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp, with the ability to produce high-quality drawings and visualizations.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and propose innovative solutions.
Experience in preparing ITB documents, contract documents, and construction specifications for architectural projects.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and practices, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and deliver results within schedule and budget constraints.
Certification or licensure as a registered architect or professional engineer is preferred.
