Project Scope: Fiber Pipeline Construction

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the engineering aspects of a fiber pipeline project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing all construction activities, ensuring that all project phases are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the construction operations of the fiber pipeline project, ensuring quality and efficiency in all tasks.
• Manage senior project staff and contractors, and coordinate between various project teams.
• Implement strategies for the timely completion of projects, focusing on quality control, detailed engineering planning, and coordination of interfaces between disciplines.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and compliance with legal and project requirements.
• Develop and manage the project’s construction schedule and budget to ensure resources are used effectively.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders, including suppliers and regulatory bodies, to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.

Requirements:

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in construction, with at least five (5) years in senior management roles overseeing mechanical engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Extensive experience in organizing and controlling large-scale construction projects, with a focus on quality control and project planning.
• At least five (5) years of experience working in the Middle East or in a similar environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage teams and interact with various stakeholders.
• Proficient in the use of project management software and tools.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
