Estimation Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Estimation Engineer with 1-2 years of experience in EPC projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, creating detailed documentation and supporting the tendering process. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical or construction projects based on project requirements and specifications.
Conduct quantity take-offs for materials, equipment, and labor required for project execution.
Utilize estimation software and tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency in cost calculations.
Documentation Management:
Create and maintain project documentation, including scope of work, bill of materials (BOM), and technical specifications.
Organize and file project-related documents for easy retrieval and reference. Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including technical and commercial proposals.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure compliance with tender requirements and deadlines. Source and evaluate quotes from vendors and suppliers for materials and equipment.
Negotiate pricing and terms to optimize project costs and timelines. Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and industry regulations.
Review and validate project estimates and proposals to meet client expectations. Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and procurement teams to optimize project planning and execution. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical or related field. 1-2 years of experience in project estimation, preferably in Oil and Gas sectors.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong in Documentation Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in cost calculations and documentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and client interaction.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to mechanical projects is a plus. 1. Salary: 3500/- total package
