Junior BMS Testing & Commissioning Engineer

We are currently seeking a Junior BMS Testing & Commissioning Engineer to join our team

As a Junior BMS Testing & Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting building management systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality, performance, and efficiency of BMS installations in commercial and residential buildings.

Responsibilities:

1. Designing of Automation systems for various Industrial, Commercial, and Residential buildings.
2. Creating application programs for the controllers in accordance with the SOP for various equipment.
3. Creating HMI graphics for handheld operator displays and servers.
4. For BAS projects, prepare AutoCAD/Visio Schematic drawings, network drawings, shop drawings, panel layout drawings, and control drawings.
5. Preparation of Technical submittals and Logic of operations for various Automation Projects.
6. Estimation of various high-rise commercial, residential towers and Industrial Buildings for Building Automation System Projects.
7. Co-ordination with distributors and customers.
8. Creating project timelines and commissioning reports.
9. Install and program various types of BMS controllers and IO modules in accordance with equipment specifications such as data point schedule, IO list, and operation sequence.
10. Test BMS control panels and hardware.
11. Conduct pre-commissioning tests and commission HVAC automation control such as FCU, VAV, AHU, VFD, chillers.
12. Commission and calibrate all field equipment in accordance with industry standards.
13. BacNet and Modbus protocol integration of various devices.
14. Prepare weekly progress reports and document technical, modification, commissioning, and checklist documentation for review by the project manager.
15. Supervising the installation and commissioning of all BMS systems.
16. Third-party integration on various platforms such as BACNET and Modbus Protocol using system mapping details such as DC, Energy meters, VFD, UPS, and BTU Meter.
17. Maintaining time & quality of work.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 5 years of experience in BMS testing and commissioning
• Strong knowledge of building management systems and their components
• Familiarity with BMS protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks
• Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required
