Senior Master/ Urban Planner

Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Master/Urban Planner , we'll count on you to:

• Independent collection, preparation and management of project-related data from the areas of land use planning, urban development and landscape planning
• Auditing and review of detailed master planning and verification of compliance with regulatory requirements
• Participation in the preparation of and participation in public information events and hearings
• Review and auditing developers' master plans
• Completion of other tasks as required

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or closely related field
• A minimum of 10 years experience in regional and local planning and design
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
• Extensive graphics and report document production experience
• Experience with GIS
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment
• May require the ability to travel
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field
