Cementing Supervisor

Responsibilities • Oversees every aspect of field laboratory operations including employee training, staffing, workflow management, technical projects, adherence to HSE policies, and control of department expenses. • Utilizes expertise in testing and procedures to ensure the lab adheres to industry standards, company protocols, and audit compliance. • Collaborates with PSLs and clients to resolve complex technical problems, maintaining a high standard of service quality in the lab to support regional operations. • Requires proficiency across multiple PSLs; managing one or more labs may be necessary depending on the district's requirements. Qualifications • Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a scientific field, along with at least five years of experience in a laboratory setting, including direct involvement with Saudi Aramco projects. • Experience in designing various cement slurries, including anti-migration, thermal, and small ID Coiled Tubing pump slurries. • Profound knowledge and application of rheological models such as Bingham Plastic, Power Law, Herschel-Bulkley, among others. • In-depth knowledge of API standards and Saudi Aramco's regulations is essential. • Familiarity with the chemical products of local companies is advantageous but not mandatory. • Ability to adhere to the operational standards of Weatherford and our clients is required. • Intermedium English level. • Saudi national is a plus.
