Position : Legal & Compliance Officer

Location : KSA – Riyadh Office

Type : Full-time

As a Legal & Compliance Officer at ABYAT , you'll be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of claims processing and compliance within the Projects Department. This role ensures that claims are handled efficiently and in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The officer will also monitor compliance with relevant laws and regulations, providing guidance to the projects team to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Claims Management:

• Claims Processing : Handle the receipt, review, and processing of all claims related to project activities.
• Investigation : Conduct thorough investigations into claims to determine validity, including gathering and analyzing evidence and documentation.
• Documentation : Maintain detailed records of all claims, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Resolution : Work with relevant stakeholders to resolve claims in a timely and fair manner, including negotiating settlements where applicable.
• Reporting : Prepare regular reports on the status and outcomes of claims for senior management.

Compliance:

• Regulatory Adherence : Ensure all project activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Policy Implementation : Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures for the Projects Department.
• Monitoring and Auditing : Regularly review and audit project processes to ensure ongoing compliance, identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies.
• Risk Management : Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Law, or a related field.
• Experience : Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in claims management and compliance, preferably within the projects or construction industry.
• Knowledge : Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to projects and claims.
