Hally are exclusively supporting a Series A tech start-up with their global expansion, we have been tasked with building out their executive level team who will be based in their HQ in Saudi Arabia. One of our assignments is to locate a VP Commercial, the perfect candidate will have blend of both multi-national experience paired with B2B tech start-up exposure, preferably early series (A/B).
You will be responsible for monetizing products i.e. payment, marketplace, and increasing revenue per user. You will drive existing, and upcoming products as well as upsell extra features to existing & new clients. Generating new revenue streams to non-existing clients to get additional products. Design multi-year strategy by generating competitive and market insights, developing a strategic perspective on how to address market opportunities and driving internal alignment on strategy leading to execution and activation in the market. You will work broadly across the company and division, with teams including engineering, sales, business development, legal, marketing, and product to establish and execute our strategy. In addition, you will lead a team of 4x Country Managers; enabling product strategies and capabilities across all aspects of the business. you will be responsible for developing and driving market strategy for innovative products and services to support scaling for significant revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Establish and drive the monetization strategy for our userbase using payment solutions & marketplace and other sales channels.
Setting and delivering against a multi-year revenue plan.
Partner with leaders from sales, product management, engineering and marketing.
Evolve the new revenue stream of product services to accelerate growth.
Partner, sales ops, and systems to develop GTM and implement plans to support the global rollout of the new revenue stream of product and services
Identify possible acquisitions to enhance the new revenue stream of product and services for monetization in existing & new markets.
Upsell products & services developed or by partners to existing userbase & responsible for renewable.
Increase customer lifetime value across all markets.
Monetize all userbase including student teachers’ management etc.
Evolve the next generation of revenue and new revenue will be brought to market and monetized.
Build analytical models to inform, size and influence pricing strategy.
Develop process foundations to improve price governance, execution, market validation, & decision making.
Measure and track monetization performance to enable continuous improvements to increase penetration level.
Lead training on advanced pricing research methods and analysis.
Increases customer retention by new added valued products/services.
Identification of lucrative partnerships that can enhance monetization in our existing & new market
Research & benchmarking of best practices as per industry practice to drive growth strategy.
Successful achievement of quarterly & biannual targets.
Technical reporting to be submitted to the CEO on periodic basis.
Have successfully managed multiple business units. contribute to a culture of innovation, excellence, inclusion, and customer-centricity.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree is required, master’s degree will be preferred
10+ years’ of experience in technology Sales/Commercial
Minimum of 5 experience in new revenue streams and monetization
Prior experience in building new revenue streams will be highly advantageous
