Distribution and control supervisor

We have an opening available for a Store Manager.

Store Manager Responsibilities:

• Open, close and manage store as scheduled
  
• Supervise staff
  
• Responsible for P&L of store
  
• Ensure customer service
  
• Perform sales to contractors and home owners
  
• Sell LBM, hardware, tools and paint
  
• Purchasing stock and special order materials
  
• Control day to day operations
  
• Vendor negotiation
  

• Merchandising
  

Manager Qualifications:

• Lumber & Building materials, hardware, tools and paint sales experience
  
• Lumber & Building materials, hardware, tools and paint product knowledge
  
• Benjamin Moore paint product knowledge helpful
  
• Five years+ retail management experience
  
• Good communication skills
  
• Good computer skills Epicor BisTrack will be used

Qualifications Candidate must be at least 18 years old and have a clean driving record Ability to operate a cash register (computer) equipment Ability to do math, read orders, follow instructions Ability to communicate with customers, other employees and supervisors using verbal and written skills Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills both on the phone and in person Knowledge and ability to use safe lifting techniques Be aware of and follow the We Believe statements and MSDT ECET objectives Ability to stand up to 8 hours at a time Ability to reach overhead to grasp materials Ability to sit, climb or balance, lift, twist, and bend, stoop or squat to floor level on a repetitive basis Strength: maximum lift, carry, push or pull up to 100 pounds, frequently lift/carry up to 50 pounds Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach with manual dexterity Vision (acuity, depth perception, field of vision, accommodation)
