Project Description:

Bechtel is currently bidding for The New Murabba Project Infrastructure” which will be built around the concept of sustainability, featuring green areas and walking and cycling paths that will enhance the quality of life by promoting healthy, active lifestyles and community activities. It will also feature an iconic museum, a technology and design university, a multipurpose immersive theater, and more than 80 entertainment and culture venues.

The project will be situated at the intersection of King Salman and King Khalid roads to the North West of Riyadh, over an area of 19 square kilometers, to accommodate hundreds of thousands of residents. The project will offer more than 25 million sqm of floor area, featuring more than 104,000 residential units, 9,000 hotel rooms, and more than 980,000 sqm of retail space, as well as 1.4 million sqm of office space, 620,000 sqm of leisure assets, and 1.8 million sqm of space dedicated to community facilities.

The New Murabba project will offer a unique living, working and entertainment experience within a 15-minute walking radius and will have its own internal transport system. It will be approximately 20-minutes' drive from the airport.

Responsible for assisting in the integration of specialized ES&H data management including data recording / entry, data tracking, creating reports and data maintanenace the Project. Has responsibility in the development and implementation of the routine and non-routine ES&H reports, and dashboards under the direction of the ES&H Director. Provides data support to project through sharing data outputs, trends, statistics and any data related information. Works directly with Contractor representatives and other Bechtel employees to ensure that required data management is established.

JOB DIMENSIONS:

A. Supervision Received

§ Receives technical and administrative supervision and work assignments from the project ES&H Director.

B. Supervision Exercised

§ As required by ES&H Director. Provides support and guidance to other project-assigned ES&H personnel.

C. Contacts

§ Maintains relationships with project management, construction management and other project-level functional groups (e.g., engineering, subcontracts, procurement, project controls, document controls) to provide ES&H data support as needed.

§ Maintains contact, as appropriate, with Contractors to ensure that appropriate ES&H data management is established.

§ Maintains contact with other ES&H personnel to solicit assistance and to keep them informed of changing requirements.

§ Provides administrative assist under the direction of Project HSE Director to the Project HSE team via completion and recording of data to the Project spreadsheets and HSE database.

§ Format using project templates HSE reports and safety documents including collation of stakeholder feedback.

§ Document HSE meeting minutes and distribution including registration

§ Maintenance of an electronic SharePoint site

§ Co-ordinate induction material to assist project inductions

§ File and scan all safety liable material pertaining to project in accordance with retention records.

§ Assist distribution of safety bulletins including maintenance of Bulletin Boards in project offices.

§ Assist in staff movements including bookings for medicals and allied health services.

§ Participate in stock take of project resources Manage incoming HSE queries and allocation to correct HSE resource for action.

§ Update action tracker and distribution.

§ Coordinate obtaining assigned office space, telephone, computer, and identification badges for ES&H new hires, rehires, and transfers in to assigned office.

§ Take personal responsibility to ensure your own and others’ health and safety – including those who may be affected by the delivery of this role.

§ Cooperate in all matters relating to health, safety and environment, including following safe working procedures at all times and not deviating from agreed safe system of work.

§ Advocate, promote and engage Project’s health, safety and environmental policies and initiatives.

Job Qualifications

§ Excellent oral and written communication skills.

§ Ability to extract and compile data for reports and conduct studies of an analytical nature.

§ Ability to analyse and interpret information and make recommendations.

§ Understanding of and the ability to use Microsoft Suite Extensive experience and proven skill in EXCEL database and statistics including Pivot Tables and display of data.

§ Min 5 years’ experience in like role, previous experience in working within a HSE team would be desirable
