Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

The position is responsible for electrical diagnostics and repairs and compliance with service policies and procedures. This position reports directly to the Regional Service Manager.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

1-Electrical Diagnostics and Repairs

Diagnose electrical faults and recommend repair solutions to Regional Service Manager. Create effective technical reports on electrical failure analysis, warranty and provide to the Regional Service Manager. To be able to operate all equipment and fully understand its function in order to evaluate performance and determine if a problem exists or not. Interpret service and parts manuals as well as schematics / diagrams for application to the repair plan. Advise customers on equipment operations and preventive maintenance.

2-Compliance with Service Policies and Procedures

Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company occupational health and safety regulation and with relevant environmental standards. Follow company uniform (dressing code) and safety gears at all times. Carry out repairs as per industry and supplier-prescribed standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area and workshop floor.

3-Technical Skills Development

Have a full understanding of all necessary machine electrical systems and identify problems using necessary electronic and mechanical tools as per supplier’s instructions. Compliance with Technician Career Development Plan (TCDP). To assist in the training and development of trainee electricians through On Job Training and coordinate progress with Supervisors and the service development team. Have comprehensive knowledge on the electrical aspects of the machinery and equipment.

4-Utilizaiton / Productivity / Efficiency

Carry out repairs to equipment in minimum possible time and minimum number of trips to customers’ sites and alternatively within the company workshop.

Skills

• Advance to expert skills on electrical repair and troubleshooting.
• Able to read electric schematics/diagram.
• Has good knowledge of our products or equivalent competitor units.
• Able to do Testing and Adjusting, Assembly and Disassembly of electrical components, Advance Troubleshooting. Commissioning.
• Advance repairs and Troubleshooting. SME for at least one Division / Product Line. Application Support
