Job Description - Manager, Flights

The main responsibilities of the role are as follows:
Overall responsibility of flight department.
Taking over the negotiations with the airlines.
Contract block seats needed with the different airlines and charter partners.
Plan and coordinate flight schedules for cruise ship embarkation and disembarkation.
Manage budgets and expenses related to flight operations.
Manage any changes or cancellations of flights.
Coordinate with Pre & Post team to ensure the guest experience is seamless.
Liaise with airlines, ground handling services, and airport authorities to ensure smooth operations.
Manage passenger manifests and ensure accurate and timely communication with all stakeholders.
Monitor flight status and coordinate with airlines to manage delays and cancellations.
Book and change flights according to the guests’ requests.
Advise travel partners and call center of fees and any additional costs.
Ensure the pax details are correct and as needed for the booking team.
Build and maintain relationships with Airlines and Charter companies.
Work closely with all key stakeholders i.e., flights, cruise, sales & marketing to create optimal package rates.
Create policy and procedures for flight operations.
Responsible for meeting or exceeding performance measurement standards and definition
Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and company policies.
Manage budgets and expenses related to flight operations.
Create policy and procedures for the flight management department.
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize processes and enhance the guest experience.
